cosy yet stylish accomodation

Really nice house, the upstairs open space being great for groups of friends or families with children. Views in the morning with the winter light over the fields are breathtaking. Coldingham is a really pleasant village with a pub doing decent food. Log burning stove adds atmosphere, and owners leaving Panettone and Prosecco for Hogmanay was a lovely touch.

Perfect wonderful cottage

Dear Lewis& Julie, We have had Three magnificent days in your wonderful cottage, and wonderful is a very reductive word to define this incredible, breath taking, nest. I think we will dream these Windows in front of a grouse filled field and the blue Sea, for longtime. All in the cottage has been Perfect, cleanness, heating, rooms, lights..... Luxurious family getaway in a beautiful location

We booked Cormorant Cottage for a last-minute mini-break and absolutely loved it. The house is beautifully designed and generously equipped; there's loads of space and everything is of a high standard. We had two young children in our party and were grateful for the cot, highchair, stair gate and toys; particular fun was had with the buckets & spades at the beach! We were lucky with the weather and able to enjoy the gorgeous balcony (a great place to relax with a glass of wine after the children have gone to bed!), and also made ample use of the TV and wi-fi system. Coldingham Bay is very pretty and again a great place for kids – and only a few minutes' drive from the cottage. Highly recommended to anybody looking for a classy, comfortable and well placed holiday cottage.

Such a lovely well designed home from home. The balcony is a winner and we enjoyed our BBQ. They have thought of every thing you could possibly need. We stayed with our dog, great walks to coldingham bay and also along the coastal paths. I felt so comfortable I could live here.

Beautiful house with amazing views

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and kitted out to a very high spec. The view from the balcony was stunning particularly in the mornings on waking up and stepping out. Our boys and dog absolutely loved the beach and the coastal paths were fantastic for walking. The beds and sofas were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would ever need. We used the gas BBQ on the balcony which was great too. I would totally recommend this holiday cottage. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be going back.

Unbelievably wonderful accommodation. To be honest it feels more like a loving home rather than a holiday cottage. The quality of the interior finishing is fantastic and the owner's clearly know how to cater to their guests needs. Turn up with your clothes and your grub and your good to go !!. 🙌🙌. We had two cars on our visit and parking was fine. People with restricted mobility may not find the cottage suitable as the living area is upstairs but that aside its an awesome cottage and really well worth staying in. The fact its pet friendly is also a real plus. Our two mutts loved their stay. 👏👏.

Just returned from a long weekend at Cormorant Cottage and already looking forward to our next visit (especially to enjoy a glass of wine on the new balcony that I've read about!) I really can't fault this place as it has all the ingredients for a perfect weekend/week away for us. I've stayed in a lot of lovely cottages over the years but none so well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches.

A fantastic family holiday in the borders with the dogs

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay in Cormorant Cottage. The cottage is of a very high standard, superbly clean with comfortable beds and all of the little extras which make for a truly great holiday. We stayed with our two young children and two dogs and we all had absolutely everything we needed and more. The dogs enjoyed their stay with great walks on the doorstep. We are already looking to return.

Stayed at Cormorant cottage for 3 nights last weekend and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is such a peaceful location and the views are amazing. We got to see some deer running in the field on the morning we left. I walked from Coldingham to Eyemouth along the borders path and was so glad I did as it was an amazing walk. The cottage has everything you could want and more. The toiletries in the bathrooms added a special luxurious feel. The fire makes the place so cosy nobody wanted to leave the house and we certainly didn't want to come home! Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)

We just loved the view out to sea and the fact we could easily walk from the Cottage to the sea, with my dog. There are endless options for walking or cycling locally in stunning scenery. Local amenities are good for eating out and shopping. The large windows in the open plan living room, flood the space with natural light. Great thought and attention to detail has gone into making sure the house is very well equipped. All the bathrooms are well stocked with luxury toiletries and spotlessly clean. In the cold evenings the wood burner made the Cottage feel very warm and cosy which was very much appreciated on a Winter break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
